FAQ

It is not compulsory for the solar collector to face north. If the solar collector is at a position where it gets plenty of sunlight then it will provide a good amount of heat. So it all depends on the angle of the mounting surface.

People make the mistake of buying expensive equipment for pool heating. That equipment is not even intended for that purpose. It is more economical to spend on low costing, unglazed panels which will provide better heating.

A properly designed solar pool heater will heat your pool as efficiently as a gas heater. Solar energy will raise the pool temperature to the required level where it will be comfortable for swimming.

Solar heaters don’t have any running costs because solar energy is free. If you require a pump with your equipment then there will be minimal operation costs.

There is no point in spending so much money on a pool if it is too cold to swim in. It is sensible to invest in a pool heating system that will keep your pool at the optimal temperature so you can relax in it whenever you want. Solar heating systems will not only be a low maintenance system but also an eco-friendly option.

The solar heating works using a booster pump and an automatic controller. The pump circulates the water through the solar panel where the water is heated and when the water has reached a specific temperature, the controller turns off the pump. Then this cycle is repeated on an hourly basis to make sure the temperature remains constant
